 Instrument Commissioning Technicians
 
Responsible for carrying out commissioning checks, tests and activities on a wide range of Oil and Gas equipment, facilities and systems.
The Commissioning Technician is required to:-
•             Carry out loop checking, both hot and cold on all types of instrument systems
•             Carry out calibration of all types of Instrument equipment and control panels.
•             Testing of relay based and micro-processor based logic/sequence systems.
•             Complete commissioning check sheets, compile punchlists, and mark up As-Builts and vendor information
•             Provide daily reports to the commissioning supervisor.
•             Ability to work with the permit to work system
 
Technical / Business Skills:
Multi-site onshore Commissioning experience required. Knowledge of hazardous area equipment.
Interpersonal Skills: Good verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of nationalities.
Good written communication and well developed team-working skills
 
Business & Industry Experience: (e.g. significant experience in process engineering, offshore role etc)   Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an operations environment in the Oil and Gas industry. Solid background and knowledge of Commissioning.
 
Experience of working in Middle East region would be a significant benefit, and in particular Iraq
Educational Attainments: e.g. Trade Qualifications, Degree, etc)                ONC or City and Guilds or equivalent in Engineering Discipline preferred but not essential if suitably experienced
  
Telecoms Commissioning Technicians
 
Responsible for carrying out commissioning checks, tests and activities on a wide range of Oil and Gas equipment, facilities and systems.
 
 
The Commissioning Technician is required to:-
 
•             Carry out commissioning on a wide range of telecoms systems and equipment.
•             Complete commissioning check sheets, compile punchlists, and mark up As-Builts and vendor information
•             Provide daily reports to the commissioning supervisor.
•             Ability to work with the permit to work system
 
Person Specification:
Technical / Business Skills:
(e.g. Project Management Methodologies, Negotiating Terms & Conditions, Cost Models etc)  
Multi-site onshore Commissioning experience required. Knowledge of hazardous area equipment.

Brief Description of Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for carrying out commissioning checks, tests and activities on a wide range of Oil and Gas equipment, facilities and systems.
 
 
The Commissioning Technician is required to:-
 
•             Carry out commissioning on a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment, including pipework, Compressors, both rotating and reciprocating, pumps, vessels, tanks, valves, etc.
•             Pipework pressure and leak testing
•             Complete commissioning check sheets, compile punchlists, and mark up As-Builts and vendor information
•             Provide daily reports to the commissioning supervisor.
•             Ability to work with the permit to work system
 
 
Person Specification:
Technical / Business Skills:
(e.g. Project Management Methodologies, Negotiating Terms & Conditions, Cost Models etc)  
Multi-site onshore Commissioning experience required.

Commissioning Supervisors
 
Brief Description of Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for their supervision of elements of work to ensure successfully commissioning new facilities in a safe and effective manner, such that the new facilities can be handed over to Operation as “fit for service”.
 
The Discipline Commissioning Supervisor is required to:-
 
•             Supervision of a team of discipline commissioning technicians
•             Complete discipline specific commissioning procedures.
•             Provision of input to completions manuals and completions strategy documents.
•             Complete on site commissioning of the new/modified facilities.
•             Generate commissioning completion dossiers, by completing all required documentation.
•             Coordinate the execution of modifications/repairs arising during commissioning activities.
 
Person Specification:
Technical / Business Skills:
(e.g. Project Management Methodologies, Negotiating Terms & Conditions, Cost Models etc)  
Hands on supervisory experience in Brownfield and Greenfield commissioning essential.
Multi-site onshore Commissioning experience required.
Interpersonal Skills:
(e.g. oral & written communication, customer liaison, team player, etc) Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of nationalities, internal and external customers 
Good written communication, networking, collaboration and well developed team-working skills
Well developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate local and regional workforce and understand and manage the cultural differences
Competencies:
(e.g. Core Behaviours, Transferable Competencies & Role Based Competencies)             
Leadership, Coaching and mentoring skills required
Planning and Prioritisation skills required.
Business & Industry Experience: (e.g. significant experience in process engineering, offshore role etc)   Minimum 10 years relevant supervisory experience in an operations environment in the Oil and Gas industry.
Solid background and knowledge of Commissioning  Processes, procedures, systems and tools essential
Experience of working in Middle East region would be a significant benefit, and in particular Iraq
Educational Attainments:
(e.g. Trade Qualifications, Degree, etc)  HNC in Engineering Discipline preferred but not essential if suitably experienced or has trade qualifications
  
Electrical Commissioning Technicians
 
Brief Description of Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for carrying out commissioning checks, tests and activities on a wide range of Oil and Gas equipment, facilities and systems.
The Commissioning Technician is required to:-
 
•             Carry out commissioning on a wide range of electrical equipment, including generators, motors, switchgear, transformers, etc.
•             Carry out loop checking, both hot and cold on all types of electrical systems
•             Complete commissioning check sheets, compile punchlists, and mark up As-Builts and vendor information
•             Provide daily reports to the commissioning supervisor.
•             Ability to work with the permit to work system
